Follow Marmion Avenue to Yanchep, turn right into Two Rocks Road.
About 2km after you pass Club Capricorn you turn off left onto a dirt
road when you see a small limesone wall with a small sign on
it saying where you are.
Easy..Conventional access.
You won't need a 4WD..the dirt road can get quite corrugated
at times, but its an easy drive for all cars.
Take it slow, though...cars have been known to plough into the fence
when they charge around the corners...its also not easy to see what's
coming the other way because of the height of the bushes...especially
on the first corner.
There's a reasonable size car park and a good view of the wave from the
car park.
The rocks are a bit vicious if you try to walk out in front of the
stairs...so rather watch the locals ..who will walk to the left and the
paddle out in front of the rocky outcrop...there's usually a good
sandbar that allows you to walk out quite far before you need to paddle
...and then a good rip will pull you out between the point and "Nails"
which is another good left that breaks over the reef , towards the
point.
Best months of the year:
This wave can get very good in April and May...but anytime really,
when
there's
swell.
Best swell directions:
West or South west
Wind Direction:
Best in a North Easterly
Tide:
Low to mid ...again, depends on swell and banks..can be great pushing
towards high.
