You wil definitely need a 4WD.. the route is a sand track
through the dunes.
It's also useful to have a 3m pole with a red flag on it tied to your
bumper...as the visibility around corners and over the dunes is
negligible
at times.
Once you get to the beach it's pretty easy going- but
several kilometers down the beach.
The location is a large rocky outcrop just off the beach.
The whole stretch of beach has banks, so you can take your pick.

Best swell directions:
North West or South west over 2m
Wind Direction:
Best in a North Easterly ... but get there early, the onshore howls
after about 11.00am
Tide:
Any
Where to find good food:
Take your own...and plenty of water...it's a long way back (time wise,
at any rate) to Lancelin, which is the closest water, fuel or food
source
