Alaska Surf Spots

OK Oregon Surf is cold...but Alaska surf is colder! MADNESS!! ... never mind  the 4mm and 5mm wetsuits...get yourself a Drysuit!!!

[Please be patient: this page takes a few seconds to load because of the interactive surf spot map... meanwhile...read on!]

Alaska map  Map showing Alaska

We've listed some of the waves that you might be interested to know have actually been surfed in this neck of the woods!

And if you have a few minutes, we're sure you'll find even more when you cruise around and zoom in on our satellite surf map (not that we think you may actually want to surf here!)....brrrrr.

Give us the Mentawis anyday!...but hey...maybe some folks like to do it hardcore!

As we receive photographs and information from our visitors (that's you! )  -  we'll create pages with photos of each individual spot and we'll link them in the tables below.

Clicking any of the blue links in the lists will take you to a page about that individual surf spot.

If the particular wave you are interested in is not yet visible as an active link, or not listed ....and you think you can share some local knowledge about it ....go ahead and add the wave to our database.

Add your own information about the spot and any photographs or epic video footage you may have!

Go here to see how to do this.
