Port Elizabeth South Africa - Surf Spots

Port Elizabeth in South Africa  is also known as "The Windy City"  ...and not best known for the quality of its surf.

It does have a few good set-ups, which are purported to "fire" on their day.

It's a pleasant enough town, with good schools and some pretty suburbs -  and the upside of it as far as we surfers are concerned, is that it's really close to Jeffreys Bay and Seal Point.

A big plus for tourists is that it's situated really close to a "Big 5" Game Reserve  -  Shamwari Game Reserve - and quite a few other small reserves...so there's things to do when there's no swell!

We've mapped the spots we know about (see the satellite map below) and we'd like to remind you to subscribe to our rss feed (see how in the nav column to your left)...as we will be providing surf reports for each of the geocoded surf spots in the very near future (early 2010)....and you'll be able to access these reports via the satellite map, the surf forecast menu, or the individual surf spot pages.
