A Surf Forecast for Wave Enthusiasts

Easy-to-understand surf forecast graphs for any surf spot or beach that you know the location of.

Why complicate things?

So often on the internet you see so much information bunched up in one browser window
that you get a headache trying to decipher it all!

Our Aim is to make our forecasting clear and easy to understand:

Think about what you'd like to know about
before you go for a surf:

Go to Forecasts

Australia

South Africa

New Zealand

Indonesia

1. How big will it be?

2. Is it blowing onshore or offshore or cross-shore?

3. What's the tide doing?

4. And is there a big groundswell or not?

With this in mind, here's how we do things at Surftweeter.com:

For each surf spot we provide:

  • Current Conditions Widget  for the quickest overview
  • Wind speed and direction and gust speed graph    Current ( -12hrs -now)  & 7 Day Forecast
  • Significant wave height graph                               Current ( -12hrs -now)  & 7 Day Forecast
  • Wave period and direction graph                           Current ( -12hrs -now)  & 7 Day Forecast
  • Tide graph                                                          Current ( -12hrs -now)  & 7 Day Forecast
and for the "Significant Other" who may want to catch a tan... we have
  • Weather Outlook        ( 7 day forecast)
And we place the current readings and 7day projections on separate pages, to avoid cluttering things.

By doing this we hope to provide you with a clear and accurate presentation of all the information you need before you hit the surf!

We welcome any feedback, so that we can improve our service to you.

If your spot is not yet listed, and you'd like to bump it up on our list of priorities...we will generate a permanent surf forecast for you within 24hrs:

Please go to our surfspotsbutton image menu button and click on "Get Indexed".
Follow the instructions which will show you how to  identify the waves location, and then complete the easy form.

Once we have the details of your surf spot, we'll put up the forecast.
