Wave period is just one of  the variables affecting our forecasts for surf on the Northern West Coast of South Africa

We display wave period, direction, significant wave height and wind speeds and directions....click on a surf spot to see the graphs.

If your spot is not yet live (linked) or indexed...go here and order your graphs

This surfing region stretches from the Namibian border in the North, to Jacobs Bay  in the South. The water is icy...and the area is known for howling onshore winds... but the waves are awesome and uncrowded.
Be sure to have your surf before 11.00am, when the wind gets up.
